USWDS gives federal digital products a shared foundation for accessibility, consistency, responsive behaviour, and public trust. In this project, I applied that foundation to D.E.A.R., the fictional "Department of Ethics, Accountability & Responsibility", then built a brand layer. I chose the concept of "Ethics, Accountability, and Responsibility" because relying on the honor system for politicians is a failed model. We need an uncompromising gatekeeper to strip away performative politics and evaluate candidates purely on their empirical fitness, secularity, and basic scientific, historical, & legal literacy.
